CHAPTER 53 Continued

We started walking down a long hall, holding hands. When we got out of the elevator, Chad opened a closed door.  I was surprised to see it was a staircase!  We went up more stairs! Than another set of stairs!  We ended up on a wood floor splattered with all sorts of equipment.  Speakers, wires, lights, etc. just kind of a jumbled mess all over the floor.  It was like the upstairs of an old house Attic.  But 50 times the size.

”Jill, follow behind me as we maneuver around some of these wires. Until we reach a curtain.”  ”Okay.”  I was pretty sure we weren’t supposed to be here.  Chad stopped and pulled back a curtain. ”Look,” he said.  I looked at a massive ceiling with dozens of Chandeliers brightly lit.

”No.” Chad said, ”Look Down.”  I gasped!  ”OMG!  Oh, Chad!  It looks just like the pictures, I have seen of Carnegie Hall in New York City.” ”Look, Chad, all the people are dressed so lovely.  There is not one empty seat.  OMG, the stage is enormous.  More Ballerinas are coming out all over the stage.  And the Musicians in the Orchestra Pit are so fantastic.”

”The people, Chad said, are seated now.  But will soon be leaving.  And we will be frosting their desert cakes soon in the kitchen.  I just wanted you to see it.”  I turned to look at him. ”Oh, Chad, this bird’s eye view is better than sitting in a seat.  We have a view of the entire inside event!”  I exclaimed with joy. ”We can hear the music.”  Chad said, ”I know every inch of this builiding.  I have been in all the crooks and crannies.  But you are the only person who ever said they wanted to see the venue.”

”Really?” I said.  ”Do you come up here often?” ”Sometimes on breaks.  I can catch a chance to hear singers or speakers.”  I turned to hug him.  But instead, I moved closer and kissed him.
